Summary of position
T&L Global is seeking qualified candidates to prepare and teach Portuguese lessons to adult learners. In this engaging and highly rewarding role, you will teach Portuguese to your assigned clients in accordance with T&L Global standards and the supervision of your Project Manager.
As an independent contractor of T&L Global, you will:
- Enjoy a flexible schedule by choosing assignments which fit your schedule
- Earn supplemental income
- Be affiliated with a language center that serves clients internationally
Job responsibilities
You will work with private students as well as group classes at our Pittsburgh Language Center, on-site at clients’ premises or online. Responsibilities include:
- Instruct Portuguese focusing on the interests and needs of our clients
- Provide language instruction that supports multiple learning styles and ability levels
- Align language lesson plans with T&L Global educational standards
- Keep records and track student progress
- Work in conjunction with T&L Global to support goals for language development programss
Requirements
We are seeking interactive and motivated instructors who have exceptional communication skills in Portuguese and are comfortable working in a diverse environment on a flexible schedule. Requirements include:
- Native fluency level in Portuguese
- Punctuality, professional appearance, patience and preparedness
- Reliable transportation
- Teaching experience, a plus
