Summary of position
T&L Global is seeking a Sales Representative in the Pittsburgh region. This is an ideal opportunity for a Sales Representative to manage and develop their own territory and client base while promoting a variety of specialized language courses, translation, and interpretation services. A background in sales is an asset to this position, but an entrepreneurial spirit and great work ethic is even more important. You will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities, holding sales conversations with clients, investigating their needs, building and maintaining strong business relationships.
This is a commission only position. As an independent contractor of T&L Global, you will:
- Enjoy an excellent commission-based package (our commissions range from 20 to 40%)
- Be provided with extensive training on our products and services at no cost to you
- Be affiliated with a language center that serves clients internationally
After a 6 months period, the contract will be reviewed and eventually modified to a base salary + commission plan depending on your performance.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Generating leads and referrals
- Holding sales conversations with clients
- Investigating the clients’ interests and needs with the support of T&L Global project managers
- Closing sales
- Building strong business relationships
Requirements
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- College level education or related experience
- Sales experience with clients that do business internationally, a plus
- Exceptional communication, organization and time management skills
- Ability to generate leads and manage sales from generation to close
- Ability to maintain existing client base and build long term relationships
- Willingness to extensively collaborate with T&L Global project managers
